(Press Release) ALEXANDRIA,
VA – U.S. Senator Sam Brownback, Republican candidate for president, will attend
two presidential forums organized by the Wyoming Republican Party in Casper and
Riverton this Saturday.
On Friday, Senator Brownback will talk about his
unmatched record of leadership on pro-life and pro-family issues at an event
hosted by the Wyoming Family Coalition.
Wyoming will hold county
conventions on January 5, 2008, to select delegates to the national convention
that will nominate the Republican Party's candidate. Wyoming's county convention
process, unlike a primary or statewide caucuses, relies on precinct committee
men and women to select the state's delegates to the national convention.
Because many of these precinct committee men and women will attend one or both
of the forums organized by the Wyoming Republican Party, the events offer an
excellent opportunity for Senator Brownback to highlight his conservative
credentials before a key grassroots audience.
